As I climbed into a large basket in the centre of the stage, I was terrified. On the other side of this vast wall of red curtains was an audience of 200 people. And here I was, a country girl wearing a costume I made from the curtains in my caravan.
Inside my basket, I was so nervous I felt sick. What am I doing? How am I going to pull this off? Then it occurred to me, how the hell am I going to get out of this basket without toppling over?
